Personally, I’ve experienced a real change in the last two years. My leadership, my perspective as a person, dad, leader, coach, pastor etc. has totally changed and this has opened up a whole new world in which I feel very small but which is so exciting. My greatest observation has been to see and understand that people are capable of much more than they thought and that willpower is the greatest lever of motivation and achievement. It’s one thing to know it, and quite another to experience it. I asked myself a lot of questions about what I really wanted and wanted to focus on. I dared to do one thing with an ease that surprised me. I dared to put an end to everything that wasn’t central to what I wanted to do. It wasn’t easy, but I did it to serve you better!

The answer was clear, the results of these reflections showed me that we were on the wrong path to begin with. Our goal has always been to liberate you in your own vision, and my heart remains here. The path we were taking at the outset was leading us to become self-centered in the long term and no longer able to grow with you. It’s so important to lay a good foundation. And we can’t do it alone. We need someone outside the fishbowl. A fish doesn’t realize that there’s more to life than getting out of the fishbowl, or having someone else outside the fishbowl make it aware. Mentoring and coaching are one of the key tools for boosting development, and there are also other needs that are absolutely necessary in certain situations.

So we totally changed the way we work, our systems, we tested them to be ready today. And personally, I was the first to benefit. From a leadership style I moved to a team style, from an institutional style I moved to a relational style, from a structure I moved to an organic style and so on. And many other things brought me face to face with absolutely necessary changes and limits that I was cultivating and constantly working on, but also liberated, taken further in what I was doing and elevated in everything I was undertaking. I’ve come to understand one essential thing: you’re part of the team!

I really encourage you to think like an owner when you think of ExponenCiel, because together we’re going to make the light shine, and that’s not the work of Joachim Fontaine, it’s not the work of the ExponenCiel team, it’s the work of all of us. Together, let’s make an impact on the world by enabling everyone to live their passion and vision to the full in a missionary dynamic, because we are the church, and the church must regain its place of influence. Let’s make the church the first place people turn to when they have a problem, let’s be part of the solution in a problematic world, and let’s share this vision together to unleash everyone’s full potential!
