Hello, do you know how pearls are made? When small grains of rock or sand stick to an oyster, it can’t scratch or expel them. These grains can cause severe irritation to the body, so a defense mechanism is put in place. The oyster coats the impurity with mother-of-pearl, a substance it generally uses to form its shell, and over time forms this magnificent and valuable pearl. Do you see what I’m getting at?
